As the first player in Norway, Celeri will offer employees the option to receive daily wages instead of monthly. Studies from other countries show that real-time pay has had a positive impact on both recruitment and employee motivation, but what do Norwegian employers think? We spoke with the CEO of ATR Cleaning, Sharon Odonio Rubio, to get her thoughts on introducing Celeri's real-time pay.

What kind of pay system do you currently have?

– "We pay our employees once a month, usually on the 20th. If we have sufficient funds, sometimes we pay a bit earlier. I manually input the hours for both hourly and salaried employees once a month. Although it has worked for us so far, it's not very flexible. Monthly payment is standard in Norway, but I think it’s time we consider newer and more flexible options."

It’s difficult to fill extra shifts, but if employees get paid immediately after work, they might be more willing to take them on. This could set us apart in the job market and keep the team satisfied. I can imagine there suddenly being a rush for the extra shifts."

This, in turn, can encourage them to stay with ATR and position us as a forward-thinking company that cares about its employees. I also believe Celeri will improve our communication and contribute to a more positive work environment."

– "Yes, almost a third of our employees have already asked for wage advances, so there is a clear demand for flexible pay options, something we can achieve with Celeri. I also hope that the transition to Celeri will be smooth and streamline our payroll process."
